Buxton Massage is a relaxed, comfortable salon based in Buxton town centre run by qualified massage therapists. I have been practising massage for in Buxton ten years and have experience in many different techniques, combining them to provide a unique and very effective treatment. Choose from either full body, back, neck and shoulders or massage for specific problem areas.

Each treatment is tailored to the client after a brief consultation. Concentrating on any problem areas and leaving the whole body feeling relaxed and energised. I give treatments using a light almond oil or organic sesame oil, which is very beneficial for the skin, light and easily absorbed. They work on the head, neck and shoulders, where stress affects major muscle groups, often bringing immediate relief.

This is extremely versatile and beneficial to employees who are seated at computers all day. Our therapist Diane Smith is a full member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and is fully insured with them for all treatments.
Services
After the first massage my neck pain was greatly reduced, after a second treatment my neck and shoulders felt completely free and healthy.
Since then I have been to her with pulled muscles, trapped nerves, tension and pain.
She's strong and always seems to have the right technique to get the best result.
Her massage is the best that I have ever had.
Since then I have continued to enjoy regular massage with Diane and now often go for pure stress-relief and relaxation.
If you are looking for an excellent massage experience, I would highly recommend Diane at Buxton Massage.
Swedish massage is the perfect way to unwind and revitalise the body.
It is focused on relaxing tense muscles, improving circulation and stimulating the lymph system.
It is the most widely used technique in the western world, based on manipulation of muscles and connective tissue to enhance performance, improve posture, aid in the healing process and promote relaxation.
In all swedish massage the skin is lubricated with oil before working the muscle tissue, releasing tension and breaking up muscle 'knots' or adhered tissues.
