What an honour and privilege it is to work in the ancient healing traditions of massage therapy and yoga. Gentle Mindful Yoga is the practice of balancing the body with the mind and emotions. This connection promotes peacefulness, improved productivity, and a better state of health and well-being. Breathing, stretching, strengthening, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques are used to improve strength, flexibility of body and calmness and clarity of mind.
My intention is to provide a safe and supportive experience where you will feel relaxed and peaceful. If you are able to get up and down from the floor you may want to practice floor yoga with a yoga mat. If you have limited mobility the chair classes might be better. Some students do both and some start with chair yoga and slowly progress to floor yoga.
