I am a fully qualified, experienced and accredited Sports Massage Therapist, Fitness Instructor and Women's Wellness Coach. I have specialised in supporting women through preconception, pregnancy, postnatally and the peri/post menopause stage of life. I draw on a wide range of techniques and tailor all treatments and sessions to your specific needs, combining specialist massage, exercise and movement, nutrition and wellbeing techniques to enable women to get the very best out of every life phase.

She provides a structured, empathic and thorough treatment plan depending on your individual circumstances, either from the Little Therapy Space in Olney or online. If you're after pain management, and a path to resolving problems I recommend Tanya. She made it easy and convenient for me to have my massages and was flexible during the sessions which comforted me as they occurred during my son's nap time.

The two rooms, the therapy room and the fitness area, are available for hire to suitable parties.
Services
I originally trained as a Therapist at The London College of Fashion, and after a break to have my family, I returned to the world of therapy in 1996 and set up my own business, Mother Massage by Tanya.
Since then, I have constantly strived to be at the top of my profession, gaining qualifications and attending courses and conferences relevant to my work to keep up my CPD points as well as attending yearly conferences.
My training in neurokinetic therapy (NKT) has taken my treatment to a different level and really given me more knowledge into helping clients regain back their ability to live without pain.
This class is a 45 minute fat burning, strength building, low impact, high intensity class.
It's made up of 30 minutes of HIIT circuit followed by 15 minutes of a full body stretch and release.
This is a weekly class held at Little Therapy Space, Wednesday evenings at 7pm.
Ladies are welcome to join once they are 12 weeks pregnant and can stay on with the class until they have their baby!
This course is suitable for women from 6 weeks after a natural birth or 12 weeks after a C section delivery.
Tanya's classes are a great way to understand how best to exercise safely whilst pregnant, and teaches you the importance to pelvic floor exercise in preparation for birth and beyond.
The on-line support through her FB group also means you feel like you have continued support and "good practice" reminders at every stage.
The classes are super friendly, for all abilities and you get to meet lots of other lovely mums to be at the same time.
I can honestly say that Tanya's massages and classes combined have helped me to feel prepared and confident as I approach my due date, and I'm looking forward to signing up to her baby massage and post-natal classes just as soon as I'm ready.
I use a variety of different techniques during your massage, including Soft Tissue Release, Trigger Point Therapy and Stretching.
Depending on what I am treating and what I find I usually blend severa techniques together to get the very best result for you and your tissue.
As mentioned throughout the therapy and treatment information sections, I have the option of mixing and using specific dTERRA essential oils to compliment your therapy and suit your specific needs for that session.
Your initial assessment will include a thorough consultation to get an idea of the story your body tells.
Details of past and present pain and injuries, surgeries and conditions form a part of a puzzle.
A 30 year old scar or head trauma as a child may seem insignificant but could have lasting neurological effects.
There is an educational element to every session where I help you to understand your body better.
Your knowledge will help in you aiding your own recovery alongside the work I will be supporting you with.
