If you are suffering from muscular problems then a visit to me Ely at Ely Complementary Health Centre in St Mary's Street may well be the best step you can take. Muscular problems can cause all sorts of symptoms, pain and restriction to movement. These symptoms can often be relieved very quickly with deep soft tissue massage.

Qualified to level 5 in Remedial Massage at the prestigious and highly regarded London School of Sports Massage in Regents Park, I have been practising for several years and regularly treat problems ranging from hip pain, restricted shoulders, severe headaches and stiff necks to shoulder tension and recurrent back pain.If you regularly suffer from debilitating pain which your GP has been unable to help you with, I would recommend that you give massage a try.

Together we will seek out the cause of your problem and I will equip you with the means to work towards being pain free - even if pain has been a regular feature of your life for a long time. I offer hot stones therapy and use them routinely alongside other deep soft tissue therapies because I believe that the heat from the stones is hugely therapeutic and facilitates even more effective muscle release.
Services
My name is Dawn Fisher and I am a qualified and fully insured Remedial massage therapist working at the Ely Complementary Health Centre where our main specialisms are Osteopathy, Acupuncture and Massage therapy.
I am a professional member of both the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage.
My own interests are based around sport and nutrition.
I exercise on average 4 or 5 times a week, this will be a combination of high intensity intervals, running, dancing and cycling.
I also enjoy hill walking, am a keen swimmer.
When you have a massage it's all about you, the patient.
I want you to feel at ease, and for us to establish between us what it is you are hoping to achieve from massage and for us both to be clear about a treatment plan and whether those expectations are attainable.
Massage can have amazing results, it can make you feel better and more mobile than you may have felt in months, it can also make you feel sore temporarily.
I describe this soreness much in the way you might feel after returning to the gym after a long break.
I am a qualified and fully insured level 5 Remedial Massage Therapist and have a Btec Diploma in sport and remedial massage from the LSSM.
Since first qualifying in 2008 I have worked with a team of Osteopaths at Sphere, Ely Complementary Health Centre.
I have set up my own website here with the aim of answering some of your questions about muscle pain and problems, to give general guidance and hopefully to encourage you to find out for yourself how beneficial massage can be in maintaining the physical integrity of your body.
Remedial massage may be of enormous benefit in treating all of these problems.
Muscles store their grievances at what you ask them to do - we all perform very repetitive tasks with our bodies and then we expect them to function well for us without giving them any real attention.
I learned my skills at the The London School of Sports Massage and I am a member of the ISRM.
They teach there a combination of Osteopathic soft tissue techniques, massage skills, connective tissue, myofascial release techniques and postural analysis.
