My name is Claire and I am passionate about sports massage and soft tissue therapy. Whether its to assist in rehabilitation following an injury or merely getting you through the week to soothe away aches and pains, I can help! I am a level 5 qualified therapist, having studied and trained with LSSM (London School of Sport and Remedial Massage) and am a member of the ISRM ( Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage).
I also hold an A-level in Physical Education, Biology and Sociology, as well as spending 16 years working in the healthcare sector.

Services
Soft Tissue Therapists treat clients who have musculoskeletal injury, pain or dysfunction caused by any of life's stresses and from all walks of life.
Although sport can be a common factor with many of our clients symptoms, this is far from being the main issue we deal with.
Applying a range of assessment methods to determine whether Soft Tissue Therapy is appropriate and devise a suitable treatment plan for the individual client.
This will include range of motion tests and posture assessment.
See more detail here.

I now provide Kinesio taping as part of rehabilitative therapy.
Kinesio taping is applied post soft tissue therapy to facilitate the body's natural healing process whilst providing support and stability without restricting the body's range of motion.
I have taped for regular niggles and sore muscles and have also taped for support for events.
I have taped a shoulder to help support a damaged muscle for sailing, several ankles in different areas after sprains and strains, one for marathon training and one for a 5k obstacle course.

If you are unsure that I can provide any benefit or would like to talk me please contact me to discuss a free consultation where I will go through an assessment.
All free consultations are in my treatment room based in East Preston.
I will then recommend a therapy which could benefit you and we can discuss how many sessions may be required.
Along with this therapy I will offer advice on a range of remedial exercises / stretches to aid recovery.
I understand that not everyone wants to pay up front or under estimates the amount of massages they need, so have come up with a loyalty card.
